Rube Goldberg International Machine Contest
Six students from Mrs. Garczynski's 7th grade science class recently entered a Rube Goldberg contest to "Zip a ZIpper." You can see their machine in action below, and hear about their amazing project!
In their own words...
Why we think we should win the contest.
"We are very determined to win and we put a lot of effort into this. We meet 2-3 days a week after-school, during homeroom, Study Hall, on Sundays, and during Science class because we tested out. It is our first year participating in this challenge and all of our hard work would pay off if we won. This is only our 2nd Rube Goldberg that we've ever made. We just learned about Rube Goldberg machines about a month ago. We have really come together and we are very proud of what we have accomplished. And, of course, the majority of this machine is held together with duct tape and hot glue! Who doesn't love those two materials?"
