Event Date -
May 5, 2022 |
When you have a creative mind, nothing is better than a day to do just that... Create!
The Creative Arts Festival is a full day event hosted by the Wautoma School District. Students in grades 5 & 6 chose one class that interests them and learn new skills. Classes often include Floral Arrangement, Weaving, Beading, Upcycled Fashion, Drumming, Musical Performance, Stunts, Perspective Drawing and Printmaking.
Doughnuts are often served upon arrival, and delicious pizza from Christiano's arrives for lunch. Parents are invited to a Sharing of the Arts in the afternoon in the Wautoma Auditorium. Art work is on display and musical performances entertain. Most students claim this is their favorite day of the year!
Students are chosen for this event by their art and music teachers based on skill and interest in the arts.
