Wisconsin Science Festival
UW - Madison holds an annual science festival where students and their families can learn about all areas of science, including new local research. Over 30 students from Bartels Middle School applied and were chosen to attend on school field trip day. Also included were a tour of the Mad Lab where prototypes in any material imaginable are created, the Geology Museum and ice cream at Babcock Hall. A few of the highlights included holding a human brain, seeing inside an ear, and working with robots.
